Marketing Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Supports Director of Marketing and Senior Marketing Manager in event-level marketing initiatives
- Prepares and executes marketing plans and timelines for events
- Leads training on marketing for new EventSphere employees
- Maintains www.eventsphere.com updates on a regular basis (including, but not limited to, annual and staff updates)
- Makes suggestions and presents new technologies that are beneficial to EventSphere and events
- Sustains rapport with Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities
- Works with Director of Marketing and Senior Marketing Manager to create and edit marketing processes and SOPs
- Works with Director of Marketing to assist in managing Event Coordinator
- Provides recommendations to update current marketing processes
- Recommends strategic marketing initiatives on an event-level basis
- Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements
- Assist Director of Marketing with the completion and delivery of proposal responses for prospective clients
- Participate in Event Management meeting phone calls as well as client calls as needed. Offer recommendations based on topics covered in calls
- Utilize Constant Contact and Passkey to launch outgoing communications to event attendees and exhibitors
- Assist in creating outgoing communications throughout all tradeshows and events
- Participates in outreach to existing clients offering sponsorship opportunities throughout the housing process
- Builds housing websites in Passkey for events
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or related field
- Knowledge of hospitality industry
- Knowledge of strategic marketing
- Knowledge of WordPress
- Knowledge of InDesign and/or Photoshop
- Knowledge of SmartSheet or similar online tool preferred
