Client Services Manager I

(Hotel Contracts Manager)

Job Description:

The Client Services Manager I is responsible for all aspects of operations related to site selection, sourcing, contract negotiation, and relationship building within their assigned accounts. The Client Services Manager must follow internal procedures, and communicate and implement plans to ensure the Client and Hotel Partner’s expectations are consistently exceeded. The Client Services Manager reports to the Senior Client Services Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurately develop and submit RFPs to hotels for rooms-only blocks as well as space and F&B agreements
  • Accurately develop and send contract templates to hotels for rooms-only blocks as well as space and F&B agreements
  • Negotiate all hotel contracts within assigned events
  • Prepare addendums and agent of record letters when necessary
  • Lead team in the creation of initial budgets for assigned clients
  • Manage an active timeline for each assigned event by due date from a Client Services level
  • Act as liaison to client and hotel(s) working in tandem with Event Manager
  • Maintain service levels while adhering to set company standards
  • Lead assigned client services teams as needed
  • Recommend new procedures and help implement changes and/or improvements

Job Requirements:

  • Hotel Contracting experience recommended
  • Strong Microsoft Office working knowledge – heavy Excel and Word
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Above average time management skills and organizational skills
  • Outstanding follow-up abilities
  • Standard computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
  • Able to work with minimal direction
  • Outstanding ability to meet deadlines
  • Travel is required
