Marketing Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager in event-level marketing initiatives
  • Prepares and completes marketing action plans for events
  • Assists in maintaining and updating updates on a regular basis
  • Makes suggestions and presents new technologies that are beneficial to EventSphere and events
  • Works with Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager to create and edit marketing process and SOPs
  • Supports Marketing Manager in updating EventSphere social media outlets through regular posts on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter
  • Provides recommendations to update current marketing processes
  • Identifies industry trends to determine system improvements and implements changes
  • Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses
  • Assists Director of Marketing with the completion and delivery of proposal responses for prospective clients
  • Participate in Event Management meeting phone calls as well as client calls as needed
  • Utilize Constant Contact and Passkey to launch outgoing communications to event attendees and exhibitors
  • Assist in creating outgoing communications throughout all tradeshows and events

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or related field
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of strategic marketing
  • Knowledge of WordPress
  • Knowledge of InDesign and/or Photoshop
  • Knowledge of Wufoo or similar online tool preferred
