Marketing Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
- Supports Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager in event-level marketing initiatives
- Prepares and completes marketing action plans for events
- Assists in maintaining and updating www.eventsphere.com updates on a regular basis
- Makes suggestions and presents new technologies that are beneficial to EventSphere and events
- Works with Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager to create and edit marketing process and SOPs
- Supports Marketing Manager in updating EventSphere social media outlets through regular posts on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter
- Provides recommendations to update current marketing processes
- Identifies industry trends to determine system improvements and implements changes
- Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses
- Assists Director of Marketing with the completion and delivery of proposal responses for prospective clients
- Participate in Event Management meeting phone calls as well as client calls as needed
- Utilize Constant Contact and Passkey to launch outgoing communications to event attendees and exhibitors
- Assist in creating outgoing communications throughout all tradeshows and events
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or related field
- Knowledge of hospitality industry
- Knowledge of strategic marketing
- Knowledge of WordPress
- Knowledge of InDesign and/or Photoshop
- Knowledge of Wufoo or similar online tool preferred
